NEW! Acacia Mangium ________________________________________

Honey from the Arc of Covenant

Acacia is mentioned in an ancient Egyptian proverb referred to by Amenhotep II:

"If you lack a gold battle-axe inlaid with bronze, a heavy club of acacia wood will do."

In Exodus 25:10, acacia wood is mentioned as the construction material for the Ark of the Covenant.

The Ark of the Covenant, also known as the Ark of the Testimony or the Ark of God, is an artifact believed to be the most sacred relic of the Israelites, which is described as a wooden chest, covered in pure gold, with an elaborately designed lid called the mercy seat. According to the Book of Exodus, the Ark contained the two stone tablets of the Ten Commandments. According to the New Testament Book of Hebrews, it also contained Aaron's rod and a pot of manna which is basically wild Acacia Honey ...

No database for Vietnam Acacia Honey?

page4image4214625104

QSI said “The sample is Vietnams acacia honey and the results of the NMR- Screening should be checked under consideration of this information. We

. We are working on a model for this type of honey but at the moment we have not enough information to know the properties of

this type of honey”actually have only a NMR model for pseudo acacia (robinia) honey and not for acacia mangium which is present in Vietnam

How Vietnam Honey has new updated database of Acacium Mangium

The problem with the marker detection ID 134 for Acacium honeys. The marker is related to sucrose detection (signals in the same region in NMR spectrum). If sucrose is higher, the marker is detected with these samples. Other markers for sucrose do not indicate foreign sugars. A natural exception might be indicated therefore related to the botanical origin of the honey.

Acacium mangium (Vietnam acacia honey) is extrafloral nectar honey and has a special composition. We will look into this botanical origin closer in the next months

and also plan to setup a model for these honeys in the NMR and define possible exceptions as necessary also in the LC-IRMS or HRMS. We will collect samples in Vietnam. This type of honey will also be important for export to the US.

So Royal Viet Thanh took the pain to ask International and national Laboratories to check their product regularly and map the ingredients and the pureness of it.

The latest just came back and were the proof again of high purity standards Royal Viet Thanh Honeys can praise themselves.

“In our opinion the deviation (marker detection) might be caused by botanical / geographical origin and does not necessarily point to foreign sugars” – NMR Screening result.
